Outcomes of the 25th Annual Conference and Contest for Young Scientists and Specialists

Conference-contest of R&D works by young scientists and specialists has concluded at the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over the course of three days – from May 20 to 22 – the event brought together talented young researchers from nuclear industry of Kazakhstan.  

This year’s competition once again confirmed that the most promising ideas emerge through open professional dialogue. Young employees from nuclear industry enterprises – including (National Nuclear Center, Institute of Nuclear Physics, NAC “Kazatomprom” JSC), as well as students and researchers from Kazakhstani and Russian Universities (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Shakarim University and Tomsk Polytechnic University) presented their research findings and developments before peers and an expert jury.  

At the forefront of the competition – cutting-edge studies and applied developments in reactor technologies, radiation safety, digital solutions and other proper areas of science. Many of the projects presented by young specialists already demonstrate significant potential for practical implementation. 

Expert discussions and an open exchange of experience across generations of scientists lent the competition a distinctly collaborative atmosphere. 

This conference served as an effective platform for knowledge exchange, discussion of pertinent scientific and technical challenges, and the forging of new professional ties that contribute to the development of human capital within the nuclear industry. 

The National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed its gratitude to all participants and experts for their productive work, the high level of the projects presented and their commitment to joint initiatives.

3rd place – Ashybaev Arystan Chingizovich, Engineer, Institute of Nuclear Physics;
