Thematic book exhibition at the town library

The final event in the series of activities to mark Science Professionals’ Day was a themed book exhibition at the Kurchatov Town Library, organized with the support of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The exhibition featured publications on the history of science, key discoveries, the development of nuclear energy and scientists' contributions to technological progress.

It was  intended for students and a wide range of readers interested in popular science and specialized literature. The materials on display was to allow visitors to deepen their knowledge and broaden their horizons in the fields of science and technology.

Such events help schoolchildren to better understand how modern science works, to see its practical side and to develop an interest in it. For many, this is the first step towards making an informed choice about their future profession and gaining a deeper understanding of research activities.
