Tours of the Scientific Infrastructure Facilities at the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan

To celebrate Science Professionals’ Day, the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened its doors to high school students from Kurchatov.

The students visited the scientific infrastructure sites of the facility, including the laboratories of the Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology, as well as the Kazakhstan Materials Science Tokamak (KTM), a unique facility.

During the tour, participants learned about the center's key research areas and the specific work of its scientific departments.

Specialists from the National Nuclear Centre answered the students’ questions and discussed the practical aspects of scientific work.
