A trilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of hydrogen technologies

On the sidelines of the Regional Energy Forum, "Energy of Central Asia – China," which took place in Astana as part of the II Central Asia-China Summit, the National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan, China Energy Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Jiao Tong University signed a trilateral agreement on scientific and technical cooperation in hydrogen technology.

The agreement provides for the implementation of joint research projects, including the development of hydrogen electrolysis and solid-state storage technologies, as well as the training of highly qualified hydrogen energy specialists.

This agreement is a logical continuation of the Memorandum of Cooperation previously signed by these organizations.

As part of this cooperation, the parties held a technical meeting to define the stages of implementing joint projects and outline new areas of cooperation.
