Exchange of Expertise and Experience: International Research and Educational Activities with Participation of the Specialists of NNC RK

In May 2025, the specialists of the National Nuclear Center participated in a series of scientific-educational events, efforts to develop of professional competencies and strengthen of international cooperation.  

Obninsk, Russia. One of them was the school of science, dedicated to the issues of radiobiology, radiation ecology and radiation medicine. Our experts presented their own scientific solutions and shared experiences with foreign counterparts. 

Dushanbe, Tajikistan. This was followed by the training course on isotope hydrology, where participants explored of application of isotopic approaches for water resources studies under climate change conditions. 

Minsk, Belarus. On the margins of the conference in Minsk, the specialists of NNC RK presented their reports regarding ecological monitoring within the territory of the former Semipalatinsk Test Site and also concerning the issues on ensuring the radiation safety. 

Gournes, Greece. The International Conference in Greece concluded a series of events, where the specialists of NNC RK made presentations related to radioecological risks, radionuclides content on the nuclear fuel cycle facilities, as well as on environmental impact of uranium mine development in Kazakhstan.   

Such events allow to share experience, strengthen international bonds and integrate the best practices into the national science.
