CCPSSI Staff Trained in Seismic Data Management

From May 12 to 16, 2025, staff from the Center for Collection and Processing of Special Seismic Information, a branch of IGR NNC RK, participated in the international training course, Seismic Data Management Training.

The course program was intensive and included three key modules:

• Induction to SeisComP – an overview of a modern software platform for real-time seismic data collection, processing, and visualization
• Basics SeisComP – hands-on sessions on system configuration and operation.
• EarthScope web services – an introduction to online tools for working with seismic data.

The training was conducted by experts from the international organizations EarthScope and ISTI (Instrumental Software Technologies, Inc.). Seismologists from the Caucasus and Central Asian countries also participated in the course.

Upon completion of the program, all participants were awarded certificates.
