Visit of Delegation from China Institute of Atomic Energy

Delegation from China Institutes of Atomic Energy has visited National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was the first official visit to RSE NNC RK, since until recently the organizations had made presentations and held discussions of cooperation prospects through online meetings.

Within the week, the colleagues got acquainted with the scientific base available in RSE NNC RK, including research nuclear reactors, laboratories, test-benches, facilities, etc. Based upon the visit results, a technical meeting was held, where the parties discussed the achievements of their organizations in nuclear power development and outlined promising cooperation areas. In particular, colleagues from CIAE voiced their willingness to consider the possibility to carry out researches using experimental basis of RSE NNC RK.
