NNC RK at industry events in Korea and Montenegro

From June 9 to 13, NNC RK representatives participated in the Interregional Seminar on NPP Construction and Operation, organized by KINGS (KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School), KNA (Korean Nuclear Association), and the IAEA. The event brought together experts from 20 countries and provided a platform to discuss key stages of nuclear power development, from site selection to plant commissioning. The program included thematic sessions and technical tours of an operating nuclear power plant (NPP) and a nuclear reactor equipment manufacturing plant.

From June 16 to 20, the 13th International Conference RAD 2025 took place. During the conference, our scientists presented their research on the radiation situation at the Semipalatinsk Test Site, environmental contamination, and the potential impact of nuclear power plants (NPPs) on natural ecosystems. The conference brought together specialists from over 35 countries.

International platforms enable Kazakhstani specialists to strengthen professional connections, share the latest radiation safety and nuclear power engineering practices, and contribute to the global scientific and environmental agenda.
