Research of NNC RK Young Specialists on the International Arena

Young researchers from the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan have presented their research findings at the 21st International Scientific Conference of Students, Master Students and Young Researchers, in the event named “Lomonosov – 2026”, that was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Kazakh Branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University. 

One of the reports presented within the section “Geological Problems of Regional Urban Development in the Republic of Kazakhstan” focused on assessing the properties of fish as indicators of radioactive contamination in water bodies and the state of ecosystems. Another study examined the accumulation of heavy metals and radionuclides in the tropic chains of small rivers in Eastern Kazakhstan under the influence of mining activities. 

Participation in the conference made it possible to present the research results to a broad scientific audience, exchange experience with colleagues, and establish new professional contacts. The acquired knowledge and scientific ties are expected to be utilized in future research activities.
