FNCA – Ministerial Meeting Convenes for 26th Session

The 26th Ministerial Meeting of the Forum for Nuclear Cooperation in Asia (FNCA) took place on November 27, uniting key Asia – Pacific nations to advance coordinated efforts in the peaceful use of atomic energy.  

At a recent meeting, FNCA member state representatives explored ways to develop atomic energy, refine nuclear technologies, and strengthen human resources through training and research programs. 

During the Meeting Erlan Batyrbekov, acting as National Coordinator of Kazakhstan for the FNCA, presented a national report during the session on “Atomic Energy and Nuclear Science”.  

In his address, he stated that Kazakhstan committed to the peaceful development of nuclear technology, highlighting efforts to strengthen uranium industry, conduct safety research, convert research reactors, develop fusion technologies, and expand programs in nuclear medicine and personnel training. 

Kazakhstan concluded by reaffirming its commitment to human capital development and knowledge-sharing, highlighting the key role of FNCA in fostering international interaction.
