The Outcomes of the 24th R&D Contest-conference among Young Scientists and Specialists

24th  Research and Development conference-contest among young scientists and specialists of the National Nuclear Center of RK came to its conclusion. 

Over the three days, contestants were presented their results of studies, discussed topical issues and prospects of further research projects of industry. On the basis of the jury decision, winners of the contest were determined.

With diplomas and cash reward awarded:

For the 1st  place –  Zhanbolatov Оlzhas Muratbekovich, IAE Branch of the RSE NNC RK, «Justification calculation of IGR reactor conversion possibility to the LEU fuel»;

For the 2nd  place –  Bachurina Irina Anatolyevna, IRSE Branch of the RSE NNC RK, «Development of web-application on sustainable management of land resources and water bodies of the territory of the former Semipalatinsk test site, located in the areas planned to be transferred into economic turnover»;

Arystan Ashibaev Chingizovich, RSE Institute of Nuclear Physics, «Developing and analyzing the thermophysical model of the irradiation capsule designed to produce Mo-99 in the VVR-K reactor»;

For the 3rd  place –  Ermakova Rinata Gennadievna, IRSE Branch of RSE NNC RK, «Sorption treatment of radioactively contaminated water in the the STS area with sorbents of various types»; 

Ospanova Zhanna Nurbolatovna, IAE Branch of RSE NNC RK, «Structural and phase states of a hydrogen storage material on the basis of Mg-doped Al»;

Тoktaruly Bakhyzhan, “High Technologies Institute” JSC, «Effect of oxygen saturation of leaching solution on the efficiency of in-situ uranium leaching.».

Special diplomas and incentive awards were also presented in additional categories: The best speaker, The best thesis preparation, Paper originality, Active contestant and For innovative work.

All contestants were awarded with certificates.
