Development of Highly Qualified Scientific Staff: New Opportunities

The joint Dissertation Council of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Shakarim University has held the first-ever defense of a PhD dissertation in the educational program “Chemistry” under the scientific direction of “Physical and Chemical Sciences”. 

This Council is chaired by Dr. Erlan Gadletovich Batyrbekov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the RK, and Director General of NNC RK. 

The dissertation was devoted to a comprehensive study of the composition and physico-chemical properties of therapeutic muds from North-Eastern Kazakhstan, as well as to the extraction and identification of their lipid-based biologically active components. 

Such successful defense marks a significant milestone in expanding the training of highly qualified scientific personnel in the field of chemistry.
