A delegation from the NNC RK of Kazakhstan paid a visit to the China Institute of Atomic Energy

A delegation from the National Nuclear Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan arrived on a working visit to the China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE, Beijing). From the very beginning of the meeting, the parties noted the atmosphere of openness and constructive dialogue between the organizations.

During the negotiations, the special importance of bilateral cooperation was emphasized in light of the choice of Chinese technology for the construction of two nuclear power plants in Kazakhstan. This decision opens broad prospects for deepening joint scientific and technical research and projects.

Тhe visit program includes holding a joint scientific and technical seminar, as well as technical tours to the institute's infrastructure facilities, which will allow a detailed acquaintance with CIAE's capabilities and competencies.

The parties confirmed their readiness to combine the experience and unique capabilities of their research bases to reach a new level of strategic partnership aimed at the development of nuclear energy and strengthening energy security.
