XXIV research and development contest conference among young scientists and specialists RSE “National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan”

Republican State Enterprise ‘National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan’ of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On May 23, 2025, the 24th  Research and Development conference-contest among young scientists and specialists of the National Nuclear Center of RK has ended.

Overall 27 scientific papers were submitted by the contest participants for consideration by the jury.

After the hearing of all reports, the jury was determined the prize placement on the basis of assessment results of papers according to the specified criteria.    

Outcomes of the conference-contest:

Ι. The first place, diploma and cash reward was awarded to:

        Zhanbolatov Olzhas Muratbekovich  – Researcher of the Laboratory for Thermal Physical and Neutron-physical Characteristics Studies of Irradiation Facilities of IAE Branch for his scientific paper entitled “Justification calculation of IGR reactor conversion possibility to the LEU fuel” – engineering-technical studies;   

II. The second place, diplomas and cash rewards were awarded to:

        Bachurina Irina Anatolyevna –  1st Category Engineer of Budgetary Programs Dept. of IRSE Branch for her scientific paper entitled “Development of web-application on sustainable management of land resources and water bodies of the territory of the former Semipalatinsk test site, located in the areas planned to be transferred into economic turnover” - engineering-technical studies;   

       Ashibaev Arystan Chingizovich  – Lab technician of the Laboratory for Atomic Energy Security Problems of RSE INP for his scientific paper entitled “Developing and analyzing the thermophysical model of the irradiation capsule designed to produce Mo-99 in the VVR-K reactor” – applied studies;

III. Third place, diplomas and cash rewards were awarded to:

1. Ermakova Renata Genadievna – 2nd Category Engineer of the Department of Monitoring and Ecological-Analytical Studies of IRSE Branch for her scientific paper entitled “Sorption treatment of radioactively contaminated water in the the STS area with sorbents of various types” – applied studies;
2. Оspanova Zhanna Nurbolatovna – Engineer of Prospect Materials Laboratory of the Center of Technological Competencies in the field of Hydrogen Energy of IAE Branch for her scientific paper entitled “ Structural and phase states of a hydrogen storage material on the basis of Mg-doped Al” – applied studies;
3. Тoktaruly Bakytzhan – Senior Researcher of the Center of Environmental Engineering and Monitoring of “Institute of High Technologies” LLP for his scientific paper entitled “Effect of oxygen saturation of leaching solution on the efficiency of in-situ uranium leaching”  - engineering-technical studies;  

IV. Diplomas and incentive prizes were awarded in the following nominations:

Satibekov Azizkhan Nurtayevich – Engineer-researcher of the Center of Beryllium Laboratory of “UMP” JSC for his scientific paper entitled “ Determination of influence of vibrocompaction modes on the characteristics of beryllium powder PTB-56 particle packing during the formation of large-sized blanks” – engineering-technical studies;

Kabylkakov Erzhan Askaruly – 2nd Category Engineer of the Laboratory for Thermal Physical and Neutron-physical Characteristics Studies of Irradiation Facilities of IAE Branch for his scientific paper entitled “ Мodel boiling of sodium inside irradiational unit under in-pile reactor experiment” – engineering-technical studies;

Nadeeva Anastasia Mikhailovna – Engineer of the Department of Monitoring and Ecological-Analytical Studies of IRSE Branch for her scientific paper entitled  “Assessment of the impact of precipitation on the quality of water based on the analysis of isotope ratios in surface water and groundwater” – applied studies;

For the best thesis preparation

Shokparbay Aray Erdenkyzy – 2nd Category Engineer of the Center of Collection and Processing of a Special Seismic Data of IGR Branch for her scientific paper entitled “A multi-parameter monitoring system for glacial earthquakes” – applied studies;

Ⅴ. A Prize for innovative work awarded to

Isaghali Asem Aidarkyzy – Junior Researcher of the Center of Collection and Processing of a Special Seismic Data of IGR Branch for her scientific paper entitled “Problems of creating a catalog of earthquakes in Western Kazakhstan - information base for assessing seismic hazard” – applied studies.

VI. All participants of the XXIⅤ conference-competition of R&D of young scientists and specialists of RSE NNC RK were awarded with certificates of participation
