In pursuance of the internal RSE NNC RK order No. 03-07/34 dated 02/06/2024, the order of the Acting Director General No. 33 dated 03/05/2024, May 22 through 24, 2024 XXIII research and development contest conference among young scientists and specialists of the National Nuclear Center RK will be held in Kurhcatov t. on the premises of the branch ‘Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology’ of RSE NNC RK. This year the contest conference coincides with the 90th anniversary of the RSE NNC RK First Director General G.A. Batyrbekov’s birthday. The Organizing Committee and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of RSE NNC RK are inviting staff members of RSE NNC RK branches, RSE INP and JSC ‘Kazatomprom’ aged under 36 years old to present their papers (fundamental, applied, engineering) at the contest conference on the subject matter of RSE NNC RK activities.

From ‘Provisions on the Annual Research and Development Contest Conference Among Young Scientists and Specialists, RSE NNC RK’:
The contest admits original research papers and experimental developments (published over the last 2 years in the form of scientific articles, conference papers or reports), which represent independent research by a specialist or a tea mof sepcialists (4 authors at most).
Contest papers are decided upon by STC and academic councils of institutes.
Contestants at least 1 month prior to the beginning of the contest conference are to submit their papers to the secretary of jury, prepared and designed as per GOST 7.32-2017.
Contest papers are submitted in 2 forms – soft and printed along with a aSTC statement. Article texts in papers should be sent to the secretary of the organizing committee via its members.
Articels to be published in the journal ‘NNC RK Bulletin’ have to be prepared according to requirements quated in the journal and at the website https://journals.nnc.kz/jour/about/submissions#authorGuidelines.
Young scientists and specialists from other scientific and educational institutions are welcome to participate off-contest.
