Off-site meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

A delegation from the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan took part in the work of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan under the President of Kazakhstan, which was held in the city of Semey.

During the meeting, topical issues of regional science development and its role in the country's socio-economic growth were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the integration of scientific research into the industrial sector, the development of healthcare, ecology, the agro-industrial complex and nuclear energy. These areas are key to the country's sustainable development and improving the quality of life of its citizens.

The National Nuclear Center presented a report on scientific and technical support for developing nuclear energy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The center also gave a presentation at the foresight session on researching and developing peaceful uses of nuclear energy and promising energy technologies. Additionally, the company organized an exhibition of its achievements and presented the concept for implementing the Science City project in Kurchatov.

We are confident that these dialogue platforms play an important role in fostering collaboration between science, business, and the government. These platforms enable us to identify priorities that strengthen the scientific and technological potential of regions and create favorable conditions for innovation and the development of new technologies.
