CONFERENCE PROGRAM

The Conference is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of Institute of Atomic Energy NNC RK. The Conference provided a broadened culture program. The following issues will be discussed at the conference: future cooperation in the peaceful use of atomic energy, including Development and Prospects of NNP projects, Physics investigation of nuclear reactors and Safety of Nuclear plants, Integration in the field of Development&Testing of perspective nuclear fuel and reactor materials, Co-operation in Staff training for Kazakhstan nuclear-power sector.

The other topics will be presented as presentations.
All the papers presented at the Conference will be issued.

VENUE

The Conference will be hosted by the NNC Institute of Atomic Energy of RK, Kurchatov.

CONFERENCE LANGUAGES

The working languages of the Conference are Russian and English. It is assumed to translate papers simultaneous.

DEADLINES

March, 3, 2008 - the deadline for submission of conference entries and titles of abstracts.

April, 3 2008 - the deadline for submission of abstracts.

ABSTRACTS AND PAPERS

Abstracts, prepared as MS Word files both in Russian and English, and should be submitted to the Conference Secretariat no later than April, 3, 2008, either as a hard copy or by e-mail as an attachment or using a 3.5'' floppy disc. Please, use Times New Roman 12 pt. The abstract should not exceed 1 page. Please, use sheets of A4 format (210×297 mm) with the following margins:

25 mm - top             30 mm - left; and

25 mm - bottom       15 mm - right.

The paper title should be capitalized. Leave two lines blank and type names of authors and their affiliations, including organization and country. Then, leave two lines blank and type abstract leaving one line blank. A book of abstracts will be issued before the Conference.

Full papers prepared as a hard copy or e-form should be submitted to the Conference Secretariat by the registration. Papers will be issued after the Conference.

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee for CIS and RK participants is $50 USD and for participants from other countries - $200 USD using the exchange rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan on the day of Registration.

The registration fee covers technical support, a book of abstracts, coffee-breaks, and formal banquets. The registration fee should be paid either in cash on the registration or transferred to the NNC IAE RK accounts no later than May, 15, 2008.
