VENUE OF CONFERENCE

The Conference will be held in Kurchatov, East Kazakhstan Oblast at the premises of RSE “National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan” of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Main venue of the Conference is the 54th building of the National Nuclear Center.

The information about sections location will be additionally provided.

ARRIVAL AND ACCOMODATION

The conference participants should inform the Conference Organizing Committee Secretariat about date and number of the flight (train) they would like to use to arrive to the closest airports (Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar) or the railway station (Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Degelen) to Kurchatov city by email seraya@nnc.kzirbe@nnc.kz or tel./fax 8(722-51) 2-22-44, 8(722-51) 2-34-13 until the 12th of September, 2016. All participants of the Conference will be met in the airport, at the railway station and delivered to the hotels. The Secretariat will assist you to book a room. The Organizing Committee doesn’t ensure accommodation in a hotel and meeting of participants who haven’t provided information on their arrival. We also would like to ask you to arrange the return ticket in advance and provide the information on your departure to the Organizing Committee Secretariat.

ARRANGEMENT FEE

Arrangement fee for participants from Kazakhstan and CIS countries is 50 USD and 250 USD for other countries in tenge according to MICE rate as of the date of payment.

Arrangement fee includes technical maintenance, collection of Conference abstracts, coffee breaks and official receptions, cultural program and tours. TOURS AND CULTURAL PROGRAMME

Conference programme includes concert program as well as visit to museum of the former Semipalatinsk Test Site, tours to the objects located at its territory: “Experimental Field”, “Atomic Lake”, Tokamak KTM, IGR and IVG.1M reactors.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Duration of paper presentation at the first day of the Conference at the plenary session is 20-30 minutes, at the second and the third days – 15-20 minutes including questions. The third day will be dedicated to poster presentations. Volume of the poster presentation should be 1-2 pages in A1 format. Duration of the poster paper session is a half-day.

Official languages of the Conference are English and Russian; the simultaneous translation of the papers will be provided.

To provide good quality simultaneous translation, speakers should in advance transfer the texts of their papers after arrival to Kurchatov town or send by e-mail to the Organizing Committee. It is planned to install 2 screens at the Conference, therefore the speakers are advised to have two presentations (in Russian and English).

Upon the Conference completion the Conference proceedings will be published. Proceedings of the Conference will be published in digital form and will be available online at www.nnc.kz and www.irse.kz.

Full text of papers (in Russian and English) should be sent to the conference secretariat until the October 31, 2016 in digital form (by e-mail to: seraya@nnc.kz as an attached file or on a disk in MS Word format). Please use Times New Roman font, with height of 12 pt.

Volume of plenary papers should not exceed 10 pages, volume of other papers should not exceed 6 pages of A4 format (210×297 mm) with the margins as follows: top – 25 mm; left – 25 mm; bottom – 25 mm; right – 15 mm. Title of the paper should be typed with capital letters. Pass 2 gaps after the title, and type initials and surnames of authors, name of organization, including the city and country they represent. After that, please pass 2 gaps and type the text of abstract with 1 gap between lines. Illustrations, tables and list of references should be included into the text of the paper.
