It was designed and manufactured in 1972 at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Almaty (Kazakhstan). Protons are accelerated to 1MeV energy with current of several hundreds of mcA.
It is used to study different cyclotron systems - central area, magnetic field, ion source etc.
